The above loop was filmed in one continuous session in December, 2008, with Alex Egan, Ryan Junell, Phillip Niemeyer, and Tanya Newton-John animating or creating animated assets at different times.
Process
The stage moves at an even clip as if on a conveyor. Animated actions can leave marks on the stage which become backgrounds upon the next full rotation. These backgrounds are in turn altered by future moves. Any number of artists can participate, and may relieve each other.
